When you’re shopping at Target, for example, it might be a good idea to look at the pens in your cart to see which ones are available for purchase.
“There’s a ton of great pens out there, and the price is great,” says Katie O’Connor, Target’s senior product manager.
If you can’t afford a fancy pen, however, it can be easier to just use a pen-holder that’s included with your order.
“If you’re ordering pens that are in the regular pen section, it makes it easy to just look at those pens,” she says.
“It’s really about looking at what’s on offer and then deciding what you want to buy.”
O’Connor says Target’s Pen Store is always adding new pens to its line-up, so if you want something like the new Inkjet Mini-Pen, you’ll need to shop around.
And if you’re not in the market for a specific pen, there are plenty of other options available at other retailers.
For example, O’Conner recommends buying a pen from your local department store, because that store often carries the pens you need to keep your eyes on as you shop.
But if you don’t have access to that department store’s inventory, you can always find a pen online.
“It’s a great way to get more in-depth information, as well as to see what else is out there,” she adds.
