How to Make Your Own DIY Neon Signs

I’m sure you’ve been searching for something like this, or at least wondering how to get your hands on neon signs.

If so, you’re in luck.

Here’s a handy guide to the ins and outs of making your own neon signs in a few minutes or less.

You need some basic tools, so make sure to grab a set of scissors and a pair of pliers.

This article assumes you already have a couple of pairs of scissors, and if you’re not sure about some of the specifics, you might want to check out this guide.

If you’re already familiar with your home’s wiring, you should have a working set of wirecutters and the like.

The best part?

You can get them online for about $15.1.

Cut out a piece of wire.

This piece is called a wire frame, and it’ll come in handy for several things.

The wire frame can help you set up your lights to fit around the house, for example.2.

Wirecutters.

Wire cutters are used for cutting the metal or plastic of a neon sign, and they’re also used to cut out the individual wires that make up the neon sign.

They’re typically small, round pieces of metal, and you can find a variety of different wirecutter models.

I prefer the larger-sized ones, though you can use any model you like.3.

Pliers.

Plier-like tools are used to hold up a piece a piece.

This means you can easily cut and bend the wireframe, and also make the wire cut.

The same is true for cutting out individual pieces of the neon, as well as for bending the wire frame.

If this is your first neon sign project, I recommend you get a set that has at least two of these tools, and use them at least twice.4.

Tape.

Tape is a cheap and versatile material that’s easy to apply to any surface and will hold up to a little bit of pressure.

I like to use a pair I got at Lowe’s to hold the wires in place while I go through the instructions.

It’s also a good way to keep a record of all the different types of wires and the placement of each one, which is useful when you need to find out what colors to use next.5.

Paint.

Paint is another cheap and quick way to make neon signs, and that’s especially helpful for neon signs that aren’t designed to look neon.

The paint will make the sign pop and brighten up the room, and the paint can also be applied to other parts of the house.

I’m not going to lie: neon is kind of complicated.

That said, this guide isn’t meant to be a comprehensive guide to all things neon.

I can’t stress enough how much you should know about making neon signs before you start making your first one.

You’ll find a lot of tips and tricks in the guide, and once you have them down, it’ll take you just a few steps to start making those neon signs yourself.

I highly recommend taking a few days to get everything in order, and make sure you’re able to keep up with everything in the process.

That way, you’ll have a clear head for what to do next, when you get back, and whether or not you’re ready to make your own custom neon signs at the end of the process…or not.
